If you drive down Market Street in Lewes you will come across an attractive old Methodist Chapel, which has evolved into one of the best places in town for a leisurely rummage.
Now run as Lewes Flea Market it's THE place to go for second hand furniture, a piece of retro chic, genuine antiques or 70s kitsch.
This Flea Market is one of the real hidden treasures of Lewes and has attracted dealers and the Public from around the world through its doors since 1992. Visitors now number many 1000's a week.

Brighton Flea Market opened in 1990 in an old coaching stop, and later Jowett garage, in fashionable Kemp Town. It followed the same format as the original Newhaven flea market which had been started under the same management in 1975.
